Spilman Attorney Named to NC Legal Elite List

Winston-Salem, N.C. — The law firm Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC (Spilman) announced that attorney Timothy R. Moore was recently named to Business North Carolina magazine’s 2014 Legal Elite list for business law.

Moore leads Spilman’s corporate and business law practice in North Carolina. His work focuses on counseling and serving the needs of banks and other financial institutions with an emphasis on advising clients on certain regulatory matters, representing clients on commercial and asset-based loans, the “workout” of distressed assets, and corporate governance.
Moore founded and now co-chairs the firm’s Community Banking Practice Group. He also is the executive editor of the firm’s community banking centric e-newsletter – Community Banking Excellence.
Moore is AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and was recognized on North Carolina Super Lawyers magazine’s Rising Stars list for banking and finance law. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his law degree from Washington and Lee University.
