PLMJ Italian Desk among the Best in Europe

PLMJ Italian Desk shortlisted for award by leading Italian publication TopLegal
The PLMJ Italian Desk is a finalist in the eighth edition of the TopLegal awards. For the first time, the leading legal publication in Italy is giving an award to the best foreign law firm's Italian Desk.
PLMJ is the only Portuguese firm on the shortlist in this new category, which awards the firm (without an office in Italy) that has made the greatest contribution to supporting Italian entrepreneurs doing international business. The criteria for the award are the performance of the Desk, its capacity to win business and the deals it has handled.
With partner Serena Cabrita Neto at its head, the PLMJ Italian Desk has a multidisciplinary team of lawyers with in-depth knowledge of the Italian language, market and culture. They also have solid experience gained over a number of years in advising companies and individuals from Italy as well as clients with Italian capital. The lawyers of the Italian Desk focus, in particular, on providing legal support to Italian clients who want to invest in Portugal and in Portuguese-speaking countries and other destinations covered by PLMJ International Legal Network. Our lawyers also advise Portuguese businesses expanding to Italy. Speaking about the awards,

The jury is made up of renowned specialists from the worlds of business, finance and government and is chaired by a representative of TopLegal’s Research Centre. The awards will be presented at a ceremony in Milan on 27 November and PLMJ will be represented by Serena Cabrita Neto and senior associate Marta Costa.
