(February 22, 2018) – Verrill Dana attorney Elizabeth Connellan Smith has co-authored the Maine chapter in the new LexisNexis publication, “Workers’ Compensation Emerging Issues Analysis.” The book serves as a reference guide for emerging trends and issues in workers’ compensation law across the country.

Beth was selected to contribute to the book due to her role as a member of the National Workers Compensation Defense Network. “Workers’ Compensation Emerging Issues Analysis,” can be purchased through the LexisNexis store.

Also a Fellow of the ABA College of Worker’s Compensation Lawyers and the Co-Chair of the ABA Workers’ Compensation Standing Committee, Smith has a wealth of experience in workers compensation law. Over the course of her nearly 25 years of practice, she has counseled clients, crafted policies and litigated numerous labor and employment law matters, primarily defending claims brought against Maine employers.
