O’Neal Webster Expands Litigation Department with the Addition of Well-Known Litigator Dan Wise

O’Neal Webster announces the expansion of its litigation team with the addition of Dan Wise, formerly Head of Litigation at Martin Kenney & Company, who joins as a partner in the firm’s Tortola office. Mr. Wise specializes in complex, cross border commercial litigation and is admitted to practice in England and Wales, the British Virgin Islands, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

At O’Neal Webster, Mr. Wise will continue to work with clients on significant cross border issues, including those involving civil fraud and asset recovery, offshore disclosure orders, and commercial and regulatory advice. He frequently represents clients from emerging markets, such as the former Soviet Union, Nigeria, Brazil, Costa Rica, and Moldova. Among his notable cases is the removal of former joint-liquidators of Stanford International Bank and the nearly decade-long representation of the subsequent Caribbean joint-liquidators.

Mr. Wise earned his BA (Hons) in History and Politics from Queen Mary College, University of London; his Diploma in Law from the University of Westminster (Commendation); and completed his Law Society Finals at the College of Law, London. He is a member and a two-term past First Vice President of the BVI Bar Association, a member of the Law Society of England and Wales, and a former British Army officer. Mr. Wise is recommended in Who’s Who Legal for his work in global asset recovery.
